Elizabeth Simon, age 64, passed away peacefully in her home in Chandler, OK on Tuesday January 24th, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 11th, 1958 in Oroville, California.

Commissioners approve lot application

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved application to the Central Oklahoma Economic Development District (COEDD) for a Community Development Block Grant for a handicap parking lot at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.

Chandler livestock show

Chandler will have its local 4H and FFA livestock show Saturday at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Cards are due at 9 a.m. and the show starts at 10. Showmanship will be after each species, peewee through adult.

Valentine’s Day dance

Citizens for the Improvement of Chandler will have a Valentine’s Day dance for seventh- through ninth-graders from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas Gym. The cost is $3 each.

Hearing set for Wellston attorney
