You know the fun part of birthday parties when everyone sings happy birthday and you get to blow out the candles on your cake? Well that part turns out to be Charlee’s least favorite part. She sat terrified while everyone sang!

Last weekend I received a piece of mail from my county election board. It was an application for absentee ballot. By filling out this application, it will allow the county election board to send me absentee ballots for all elections which I am eligible to participate in this calendar year (2023).

Stamping out starvation

Chandler High School students from the FCCLA, varsity cheer, FFA and BPA packaged meals last Wednesday at the First Christian Church for Stamp Out Starvation, an Oklahoma-based nonprofit that helps the hungry worldwide. At left are Uaniah Roberson, Payton Box, Makayela Dawkins and Bailey Boren.

Shawnee resident Michael Eddus Culp, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence. Memorial Services were held January 7th, Newalla Church of Christ. Michael was born February 12, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Theressa Culp.
