A Cushing man facing a felony charge of Aggravated Assault and Battery has waived his right to a preliminary hearing, court records show.

Oklahoma Children’s Theater comes to Meeker

Elementary students in Meeker will enjoy a performance of the Oklahoma Children’s Theatre on May 5. Each year BancFirst joins Oklahoma Children’s Theatre to sponsor performances in communities around the state.

McLoud reappoints mayor, vice mayor

The McLoud City Council, in a brief meeting last week, reappointed its mayor and vice mayor for two-year terms. City Manager Buck Day said Mayor Stan Jackson was reappointed as was Vice Mayor Ralph Snider.
