Manslaughter charge filed

A Meeker man faces a first degree manslaughter charge after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a fatal multiple traffic collision in Lincoln County in late August.Michael Lee Angel Figueroa, 31, was charged in Lincoln County District Court Oct.

Grants for Agra, Carney FFA chapters

The Agra and Carney FFA chapters were two of three to receive technology and innovation grants for STEM education, according to a press release from Devon Energy and Ovintiv Inc., which are sponsoring the grants.

Guilty plea in felonies

Lincoln County commissioners this week appointed a new County Court Clerk to fill the position that longtime Court Clerk Cindy Kirby is stepping down from after 21 years.On Monday of this week, commissioners unanimously appointed Kirby’s first deputy Kristie Hammock to succeed Kirby.
