Bench warrants were recently issued for the arrest for a couple for allegedly abusing an eight-year-old child.
A charge of child abuse was formally filed in Lincoln County District Court Feb. 8 against Aaron Curtis Richardson, 29, of Tryon.
Ashley Ann Richardson, 28, was charged the same day in Lincoln County District Court with enabling child abuse.
Each was sought on a $25,000 bench warrant issued the same day as the charges were filed.
Court records now show $25,000 appearance bonds have been set for each of them and they are to make their initial appearances at 1:30 p.m. on March 10.
