An employee of OG&E stands by an electrical switching cube at Hiland Dairy Tuesday morning. The cube caught fire, knocking out electricity to more than 1,200 customers between 9:48 and 10:33.
OG&E does not know the cause of the fire but is investigating, spokesperson Karen Kurtz said. The cube is connected to a substation that feeds the City of Chandler. Kurtz expected the cube to be working again Wednesday.
