McLoud coach Rusty Hall was named the District 3A-1 Coach of the Year and seven Redskins were named to the all-district team this week.
A McLoud graduate, Hall took over as the Redskins head coach in 2015 and has taken them to the playoffs twice, including this season.
Quarterback Collin Gibson was the district’s co-offensive MVP, Wes Olds was the punter of the year, Karson Cue was a first-team defensive back and Caleb Summerlin was a first-team linebacker.
Jaxon Rudd was a second-team defensive back, Nick Kimball was second team as special teams player and Hunter Ryan was second team as kicker.
