Week of August 10-15 Carney

For the week: 2-3. Wins over Barnsdall (7-1) and Frontier (4-3). Losses to Glencoe (11-3), Frontier (4-2) and Tonkawa (11-1). Record: 2-5.

Summer Keller threw five innings of three hit ball to lead the Lady Bulldogs over Barnsdall on Friday.

She also went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs. Willow Peaslee drove in two runs and scored twice, while Ashtyn Stokes and Gracie Hernandez had double.

On Saturday, Carney avenged an earlier loss to Frontier by beating the Lady Mustangs, 4-3. Stokes tripled, scored a run and drove in another, and Braycelee Holmes tripled in a run and scored. Chloe Freeman and Sara Kirkpatrick drove in the Lady Bulldogs’ other two runs.

Chandler

For the week: 6-2. Wins over Okmulgee (16-0 and 16-0), Dewar (9-1), Meeker (13-0), Hominy (7-4) and Luther (15-1). Losses to Oilton (4-1 and 6-3). Record: 6-2.

Gentry Garner muscled up for a five-RBI game in the Lady Lions’ season-opening 16-0 win over Okmulgee. Addie Miller, Autumn Rednour, Emmersyn Raper, Halle Herrmann, Hadley Howell and Marlee Buys all had doubles and Hope Crews stole five bases. Paige Keeling picked up the win in the circle by going three innings without giving up a hit.

Chandler plated 10 runs in the first inning of the second game, removing any doubts about the outcome. Rednour and Bays doubled again and Madison Herring got the pitching win, throwing three innings, striking out three and allowing two hits.

Rednour went yard in the 13-0 win over Meeker at the Oilton tournament. Brenlee Corea tripled, singled and drove in three runs and Garner doubled, singled and drove in a pair. Keeling and Herrmann combined for a three-inning no-hitter, with Keeling working the first two and Herrmann the third.

Shortstop Corea was back with a 3-for-3 game against Hominy and drove in pair of runs. Elli Hilgenfeld was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

Rednour, Howell and Buys homered against Luther on Saturday in the 15-1 win. Hilgenfeld, Herrmann and Howell all doubled.

Dale

For the week: 5-0. Wins over Vanoss (1-0), Lone Grove (12-2), Woodland (14-2), Drumright(10-1) and North Rock Creek (41). Record: 5-0.

Holland Herring doubled home Kinley Patten in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the Lady Pirates to a 1-0 win over Vanoss in the season opener. Macy Jones got the win in the circle, allowing only one hit and one walk over seven innings.

Patten had a homer and five RBI to pace the win over Lone Grove. Jayse Smith had a double, single and three RBI. Brooke Sheline and Maycee Welcher had doubles.

Welcher went yard against Woodland, Sheline had a double and three RBI and Patten had a double.

Patten homered, doubled twice and knocked in five runs against Drumright. Higdon and Khloe Jones also doubled.

The DLPs mustered only three hits against North Rock Creek, but turned them into a 4-1 win behind the five-hit pitching of Macy Jones.

Davenport

For the week: 1-1. Win over Cushing (11-2). Loss to Wister (5-1). Record: 3-1.

The Lady Bulldogs pounded out 16 hits - all singles - in the win over Cushing. Charlie Adams and Autumn Gaylord had three each, with Adams driving in three runs and Gaylord two. Gracie Moore got the win in the circle, striking out eight and giving up three hits in four innings. Murfin finished up with a hitless inning of relief.

Davenport got six hits - once again, all singles - against Wister, but lost, 5-1. Nevah Ray and Lexi Blair had two of the singles and the lone RBI.

Moore allowed only five hits over seven innings, but took the loss.

McLoud

For the week: 5-2. Wins over Drumright (8-0), Bristow (21-0), Bethany (9-1), Chisholm (5-1), Weatherford (11-4). Loss es to Mannford (9-5) and Cahce (9-3). Record: 3-1.

Record: 5-2.

Leadoff batter Makenzie Lane had a homer and three RBI and Miley Hicklin threw a five-inning one-hitter to pace the season-opening win over Drumright. Adley Wilson went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI against Bristow on Tuesday. Lexi Patterson and Paisley Popplereiter combined for a fiveinning one-hitter in the circle. Patterson went three innings, striking out eight and not allowing a hit. Popplereiter went the final two frames, striking out three.

Kayse Higdon homered in the loss to Cache on Friday.

Lyndse Rakestraw singled in all three of her at-bats against Bethany and drove in three runs. Avery Soward had a double and Wilson drove in two runs. Hicklin got the pitching win, working five innings and giving up just three hits.

Lane poled her second homer of the week in Saturday’s 11-4 win over Weatherford. Wilson went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI and scored four times. Higdon had a pair of doubles, two RBI and two runs scored.

Meeker

For the week: 0-4. Losses to Depew (8-7), Yale (9-6), Konawa (120), Chandler (13-0). Record: 0-4.

The Lady Bulldogs ran into offensive woes late in the week. After losing a pair of close games to Depew and Yale, they were shut out by Konawa and Chandler.

North Rock Creek

For the week: 4-2. Wins over Cleveland (16-6), Wyandotte (90), Washington JV (8-3), Glencoe (8-3). Losses to Plainveiw (5-4) and Dale (4-1). Record: 4-2..

Jaden Clifton went 3-for-5 with two triples and a pair of RBI and scored four times to pace the Lady Cougars’ win over Cleveland.

Asypn Harder and Aubree Shivelhood had doubles.

Shortstop Izzy O’Daniel was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI against Glencoe and Clifton scored three times.

Prague

For the week: 3-1. Wins over Lexington (132), Tecumseh (8-3) and Henryetta (5-3). Loss to Bethel (11-5). Record: 3-1.

Prague opened up the season with three straight wins.

Maddie Roberts and Ainsley Auld keyed the win over Lexington, with Roberts hitting a homer and two singles, scoring four times and driving home three and Auld having a triple,double and single and knocking in five.

Hallee Elmore had three hits, scored three runs and drove in three against Tecumseh.

Jaxcyn Goodnight and Jalyn Goodnight combined for a six-hitter against Henryetta. Jaxcyn started and went six innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs and Jalyn threw the seventh, striking out two.

Stroud

For the week: 3-4. Wins over Hominy (115), Wellston (11-0) and Pawnee (7-4). Losses to Bishop Kelley (2-0), Sapulpa (4-3),Muskogee (6-5) and Blackwell (2-0). Record: 3-4.

The Lady Tigers were six runs away from opening the season 7-0. They won three games and lost a pair of one-run decisions and two two-run games.

Georgia Hulsey had two doubles and a single and scored twice against Hominy and Carlee Miller an Kadence Terrell had a pair of RBI each.

Senior Miyah Clark had a three-hit day against Wellston and Hulsey picked up the win in the circle with a five-inning two-hitter.

Wellston

For the week: 1-2. Win over Coyle (14-2). Losses to Luther (14-2) and Stroud (10-0). Record: 1-2.

Audrey Fish had two triples and a single, scored three times and drove five runs in the win over Coyle.
