Aaron was born August 1, 1924 to Benjamin Franklin and Willie Mae Arradondo in Dallas, Texas. He departed this life February 22, 2021 at the age of 96.
After graduating high school, Aaron served his country and was honorably discharged as a World War II veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. He had a long career working as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service. After retirement in 1979, he started an apple orchard in which he operated for over 30 years. He was the most Worshipful Past Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Minnesota. He was the last surviving member of Grand Inspector General 33rd Degree Mason class of John R. Lawrence. Other past titles held include, past Worshipful Master of Palestine Lodge No.7, past Commander in Chief of North Star Consistory No. 14, past Grand Excellent High Priest, Royal Arch Masons of Illinois, past Grand Eminent Commander of Knights Templer of Illinois.
Additionally, Aaron was a member of Ames Elks Lodge and Electra Chapter No. 1 of Minnesota and Order of Eastern Stars. Aaron and Inga Marie Leyer were united in marriage in 2006. He enjoyed attending and fellowshipping with his church family, Rogers Chapel, along with gardening, and fishing. As well, he loved to travel the country visiting his family and especially enjoyed talking to his favorite nephews. The purchase of weekly lottery tickets brought Aaron excitement, as careful thought was given to his numbers chosen.
He is survived by his wife, Inga Marie Arradondo; four children, Kathryn Forrest and husband Jeff, Marilynn DeBoard and husband Ron, Jacki Perry and husband Marc, Aaron G. Arradondo; three siblings, Lillie Lewis and husband Ira, John Arradondo and wife Jeanne and Wanda Barker; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and seven sisters.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Rogers Chapel Cemetery in Slick, Okla., with the Rev. Ernest Kellum officiating. Condelences may be made to the family at www.hutchinsmaplesfuneralhome.com
