Area basketball teams are entering the final month of a regular season for the history books.

They had games cancelled due to exposures to the COVID virus, games put together on short notice and games played short-handed, but here they area, playing the final regular season tournaments and looking at the playoffs just over the horizon.

Classes A and B will play their district tournament Feb. 12 and 13, and those pairings have already been released.

Agra and Carney will play at Lomega in Class B, Wellston will host Hominy and Woodland in Class A and Davenport will host Summit Christian and Foyil in Class A.

Assignments for Classes 2A, 3A and 4A will be released Feb. 5.
