Wellston couple reaches 60 years of matrimony

Marvin and Deanna Kriel Evans of Wellston were married August 27, 1960. They have raised cattle and farmed together for 60 years now and plan to continue to do so. For most of their married life, they have raised a huge garden and people know where they can find fresh veggies under the shade tree.

Happenings at Prairie Pointe

It’s been a week of sweets and treats at Prairie Pointe. Pete Sawatzky has been to Florida again and you know what that means……a huge bag of fresh vine ripe tomatoes. What a treat! Thank you Pete!!!

Hodge named Realtor of the Year

Lincoln County Realtor Chris Hodge, pictured above on the left, was named Realtor of the Year during a recent event at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center. Hodge is owner/broker of All Seasons Realty, LLC of Davenport and has been a member of the Shawnee Board of Realtors for 11 years.

Pre-K Enrollment

Parkview Elementary School will begin enrolling Pre-Kindergarten students starting on Monday, March 02, 2020. Students must be four on or before September 1, 2020. Students must be up to date on their immunizations.
