Agra man ordered to reappear

An Agra man facing two counts of child sexual abuse has been ordered to reappear in court with an attorney later this month.John David Somers, Jr., 33 at the time he was charged, has entered an innocent plea. District Judge Sarah Bridge has continued the case to the June 2025 jury term.

Meeker Town Board of Trustees have approved proposed General Fund and Public Works Authority budgets for 2025-2026 with revisions and approved several ordinances.The Trustees approved a proposed General Fund budget totaling $886,010 for 2025-2026.

Lincoln County commissioners have finalized their appointments to the 522 Ambulance Service Board with approval of two selections from District 3.The commissioners approved District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen’s selections of Rob Ballard from Meeker and Tyler Hogset from Northwest Lincoln County.
