The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association released the Class A, B-I and B-II district pairings for basketball.Wellston, Davenport and Agra will start the playoffs at home, while Carney will travel to Lomega.

McLoud’s girls wrestling team won the Midwestern Conference tournament in Durant last week and came home with three individual championships.Chandler’s girls came in 8th and the Chandler boys took seventh in their bracket.

The Lions beat Stroud and Holdenville in the first two rounds and Okemah by a 57-38 margin in the finals on Friday. In the girls’ bracket, McLoud’s fourth-ranked girls won the tournament and went to 16-0 for the season. They beat Holdenville, Stroud and Okemah with an average winning margin of 40 points.
