Disposition in embezzlement case to be held in April

A Meeker man charged in 2024 with two counts of embezzlement, who has pleaded not guilty is set to appear for dispositional hearing next month.

Trenton James Findley, aka Tater, was born on April 9, 2008, in Cushing, Oklahoma. Tater was attending Epic School and was so excited that he had reached enough credits to be an official junior. Tater played T-ball and was very active in 4-H when he was young.

Chandler man pleads guilty, gets some jail time

A Chandler man, scheduled for a bench trial, has opted instead to enter guilty pleas to the charges he was facing and has drawn some prison time.Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on March 15, 2024 against Herbert Lee Gaines, Jr., 58, and Rachelle Dawn Bannister, 45.
