Conference on Stroud crash continued again

A status conference for the driver of a vehicle that struck and seriously injured a Stroud youth who was driving a motorcycle last July has been continued once again.

Blind plea nets three prison terms

A woman who entered a blind plea during the middle of her trial in February has been handed three lengthy prison terms. Felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court April 4, 2022 against Angela Renee Gordon, 42, Claremore.

A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for today for a man involved in a high speed pursuit that reportedly started in Perkins, went down U.S. 177 clear to I-40 and ended up at the Dale Middle School after partially running through a farmer’s wheat field.

James Henry Davis died on April 8, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home in Stroud, OK. Jim was born to Howard P. Davis and Irma F (Simpson) Davis on March 21, 1939 in Manhattan, Kansas. He graduated from Laramie High School and then went on to the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY.
