Lincoln County commissioners this week opened bids on the construction of the OSU Extension Building and approved submitting the budget request to the budget maker.Thirteen different companies submitted bids on the building project.

Davenport’s Bulldogs came so close to winning its first game of the season last week, but fell to Alex 2827, after being on the Longhorns’ one-yard line late in the game.The Bulldogs must now get ready in a hurry as they host Depew in a Thursday night contest.

Kennedy Allen stroked a two-run double in the sixth inning and pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh to lead Chandler to a 2-1 win over Stroud in the finals of the 66 Conference fastpitch tournament Saturday at Prague.
