The Lincoln County E911 Center was named the Emergency Communications Center of the Year at the 2024 Oklahoma Public Safety Conference.

Volunteers from the First Christian Church in Chandler stock the shelves at God and Peoples Pantry on Saturday morning before opening the doors. The Pantry served about 55 families that day. A Prague man has waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of felony assault and battery charge following a reported altercation with his girl friend.Trevor Wade Mills, 23, was formally charged in Lincoln County District July 10 this year with domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
