Woman charged with A&B with deadly weapon

The Lincoln County district attorney filed charges against a Chandler woman for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of an accident on March 27 after she allegedly hit a neighbor with her car.

The Shell station near the intersection of Hwy 18 and Westech Road north of Shawnee received damage from a tornado on Friday night. Outside of the awning, the storm mostly caused tree damage according to authorities. The tornado was estimated to be an EF1, according to the National Weather Service. Photo/Brian Blansett
