The Chandler High School Class of 2024 celebrates at the end of its graduation ceremony on Friday at the Freeman Fieldhouse. Graduation was just one of the highlights of Chandler’s annual alumni weekend. This year’s festivities expanded to include a bowling tournament, along with the usual golf tournament, poker run, parade, banquet and parties. Trials set in murder case

The murder trials for a Wellston woman and an Iowa man charged in the death of a Carney man have been rescheduled to October, Clyde Dean Clayton, 42, of Sioux City, Iowa and Janelle Berthna Brown, 39, Wellston, were formally charged July 14, 2023 in Lincoln County District Court.
