Donald Wayne “Don” Hodde, longtime Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 3, 1949, in McLoud, Oklahoma. Don departed this life on March 16, 2024, in Chandler, at the age of 74 years.He was the son of Herman and Minnie (Fetner) Hodde. Don was one of those guys who could do about anything.

The Alpha Iota Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society hosted their annual Senior Girls’ Night on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Chandler First United Methodist Church.Dr. Jo Ann Pierce, president of the DKG Oklahoma State Organization met with Alpha Iota members prior to the Senior Girls’ Night.

County gets road grants

Lincoln County District No. 2 received a matching grant of up to $75,000 from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission to improve an unpaved road.District No. 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller said the grant was for a specific project on Road 3400 between 970 and 980.
