Bench warrants issued in cruelty case

Bench warrants have been issued for the arrest of a Chandler woman and a man from Spencer facing multiple counts of animal cruelty.Formal charges were filed March 15 this year in Lincoln County District Court against Lauren Patricia Carter-Clark, 34, and Darwin Rideau, about 32.

A federal grand jury has indicted a Sparks man who already is sitting in the Lincoln County Jail facing three felonies that were filed against him last July.The grand jury recently issued a four-count indictment against Stephen Charles Graham, 61.

Meeker Town Board of Trustees this week voted to take no action on allowing a proposed RV/Trailer Park to be placed at the southwest corner of Veterans and North Dawson.Steve Buoy Construction is proposing to place the RV/Trailer Park at that location.

Econolodge property assigned to new developer

The Chandler City Council voted to assign the agreement for the old Econolodge property to a different developer on Mar. 12. They approved the contract assignment language between Chandler Shopping Center LLC and JSH Properties LLC as presented by the city attorney, Larry Lenora.
