The other day when I started thinking about a topic for this column, I began searching for some old photos sent to me several years ago.Now I’m not sure about some of you, but I told myself I’d placed them in a spot where they would be easy to find.

County Commission

Lincoln County commissioners this week opened and discussed bids on two projects, then decided to table any action until their Jan. 20. meeting.The commissioners also reappointed Lee Doolen to remain as chairman of the board and Marlon Miller as vice chairman.

Looking back at 2025

Here is the second part of our look back at 2025.- Associate District Judge Joseph Dobry asked lawyers to submit written arguments by July 2 to determine whether a preliminary injunction on the demolition of the St. Cloud buildings would be issued. He will then issue a written ruling.

Supergirl 64 wrestling

The Lady Lion and Lady Redskin wrestling teams left it all on the mat last weekend, with both competing at the SuperGirl 64 tournament at Union.McLoud had three girls place in gold brackets and was sixth overall as a team. Chandler had two place in gold brackets and came in at 31 as a team.
