Billy Jack Russell, 94, was born to Stephen and Jimmie Russell on August 11, 1927, in Strawn, Texas. He died Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Billy served in the United States Air Force. He and his wife Margaret, owned and operated Russell’s Auction, south of Chandler.
Preceding him in death were his parents, four siblings, his wife, one granddaughter, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Billy Russell, Claude and Carla, Cheryl and Ricky, Audrey and Tom, David and Linda, Kay, and Kevin and Cherie; 14 grandchil dren; 20 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services were held Friday, March 4, 2022, at Lehman Funeral Home in Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. His son Kevin Russell officiated and burial followed at Star Valley Cemetery east of Wellston.
