Sandra Kay McCorkle

Sandra Kay (Oliver) McCorkle was born May 20, 1948, in Oklahoma City. She died Tuesday, June 30, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years.

McCorkle, the daughter of Elmo and Nadine (Aday) Oliver, married Lyle McCorkle in 1970.

She graduated from Guthrie High School in Guthrie, Okla., in 1970 and worked as a nail technician.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her daughter Cory Lyn McCorkle and her brothers Wayne Oliver and Judge Oliver.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Coy and Becky McCorkle of Holdenville, Okla., Kyle and Meri McCorkle of Wellston, Jody and Megan McCorkle of Stillwater, Okla., and Penny and Mike McLain of Wellston; 12 grandchildren; and other family and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held 10 a.m., today, July 2, 2020, at McKinley Cemetery in Meridian, Okla., with Dennis Osborne officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
