Charges filed against Chandler couple

A Chandler couple has been charged with sex-related crimes to a minor following their arrests earlier this month by Lincoln County deputies. Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court on Sep. 21 against Robert Wayne Lowe, 41, and Destiny Ann Lowe, 39.

Meeker board sets school election

Continuance granted in murder trial

A Harrah man awaiting a jury trial this month on a first degree murder complaint has been granted a continuance until February. He also has waived his preliminary on five additional felonies he was charged with and his arraignment has been scheduled for November on those charges.

A truck hauling cardboard caught fire last week on the Turner Turnpike near Chandler and required firefighters to extinguish it. The fire created a cloud of smoke and caughtsome nearby grass on fire.
