DHS offers family planning services

The Lincoln County Health Department provides family planning services to males and females of reproductive age. Family planning is a key factor in preventing unintended pregnancy, including adolescent pregnancy.

By preventing unintended pregnancy, family planning also reduces the incidence of abortion, as well as improving birth outcomes.

Reproductive Health Services reduce both the incidence and impact of sexually transmitted disease infection through screening and treatment.

A physical exam, laboratory tests and screenings are provided if indicated.

Counseling on methods of birth control, infertility problems, nutrition, social worker services and hygiene is available along with information on vasectomy and tubal ligation.

Family Planning exams are by appointment only. Please call the Lincoln County Health Department at (405) 258-2640 to schedule your appointment.

A sliding scale is used. Fees are based on income.

No one is refused services based on inability to pay.
