The virtual summer reading program “Imagine Your Story” ended June 30 for the Pre-K through 5th grade participants who received a certificate and a goodie bag along with a Sonic coupon.
The recorded stories, for all ages continue to be available online at cityofstroud. com/read. All the stories, not just for the littles but also for the tween, teen and adult set will remain posted until August 15.
We would like to thank the volunteers who helped record stories for the program: Penny Cockrum, David Timmons, Jessica Martinez and Tina Livingstone.
It is not too late for 6th – 12th graders to participate in the Scavenger Hunt contest: pictures are due by August 1st. For a list of the scavenger hunt items check out our Facebook page. If you have pictures of your kids doing the craft projects from earlier in the program, we would love to see them!
