Four people from Pottawatomie County are each facing four felonies following the alleged burglary at a house in Lincoln County earlier this month.
A $20,000 bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of one of them.
Rainey Renee Sulphur, 25, Shawnee, Kilee Nicole Thomason, 19, Shawnee, Brian Scott Jones, 25, Maud and Michael Dewayne Brown II, 24, Tecumseh each face these felony charges:
Assault, Battery or Assault and Battery with a dangerous weapon; Larceny from a house; Conspiracy; and Leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, court records show.
The charges against each of the defendants were filed in Lincoln County District Court on March 15.
A $20,000 bench warrant has been filed against Brown for his arrest, records show. According to the records, Brown appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk on March 23. She ordered the $20,000 bond remain in effect and set the cause for status at 1 p.m. on March 29.
He made his initial appearance on Monday of this week and Judge Kirk set a pre-preliminary hearing for Brown at 1:30 p.m. today, April 1.
The warrant and return were filed on March 26, records show.
Sulphur appeared before Special Judge Emily Mueller and a $5,000 bond was set.
Thomason appeared before Judge Mueller also and a $10,000 bond was set for her.
Judge Mueller set a $15,000 bond for Jones when he appeared before her on March 4.
In Count 1, Sulphur, Thomason and Brown are accused with being in concert with Jones deliberately hitting Ralph Briton with a Dodge Ram pickup truck on March 2 in Lincoln County.
Count 1 against Jones charges him with deliberately hitting Briton with a Dodge Ram pickup truck on that same date in Lincoln County.
In Count 2, the four are charged with larceny from the house by breaking and entering the residence of Wayne Settles on March 2 in Lincoln County in concert with one another another.
Count 3 charges the four defendants by conspiring with one another to commit a larceny of the home of Wayne Settles on that same date.
The final count alleges leaving the scene of an injury accident by fleeing from an injury vehicle/pedestrian collision causing known injury to Ralph Briton on that same date.
A probable cause affidavit filed in the case shows that Sulphur gave her self up and was later transported by Lincoln County Deputy CJ Hyde to the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler for booking.
Jones and Thomason were taken into custody the next day, March 3, by Prague police and later transported by Deputy George Kelly Coleman from Prague to the Lincoln County Jail.
Brown remains at large.
According to the affidavit, several deputies and detectives with the Sheriff’s Office along with Prague Police were involved in the investigation.
The Dodge truck that Jones reportedly was driving and involved with in the break-in of the Settles’ residence and alleged assault of Briton had been borrowed from a neighbor of Sulphur.
Deputies had the truck impounded. A rifle was that was found in the roadway was placed into evidence along with other stolen property, an investigator states in the affidavit. One of the investigators reported he was able to lift three sets of latent fingerprints that were to be sent to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation lab.
According to the affidavit, the burglary took place at a residence at 101771 S. 3560 Rd. in Lincoln County.
