Guy Daniel Garrison was born March 22, 1946, at his family home near Davenport. He died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his home. He was 75 years old.
Garrison, the son of Eldon Garrison and Myrtle Herd, married Georgie Meeker on September 23, 1969, in Bartlesville, Okla.
He was a 1964 graduate of Davenport High School.
Preceding him in death were his father, his son David Garrison and a half sister Carolyn Jones.
Survivors include his mother Myrtle Livecy; his wife of 52 years Georgie Garrison; two daughters, Michelle Correll and Cindy Hines; three grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Toni Garrison; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Monday, April 26, 2021, at Davenport Church of Christ with burial following at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler. Care Services were provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
