Darrell Eugene English of Stroud was born September 21, 1936, in Shamrock, Okla. He died Saturday, June 13, 2020, in Stroud. He was 83 years old.
English, the son of Charles Robert English and Alva May Buchan-English, was married to Lana Walker on December 14, 1962, in Chandler.
He worked in maintenance for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his brothers Roy English and Dennis English.
Survivors include his wife Lana English; his sons, Charlie English and Derrick English; two grandsons and one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons; and other family and friends.
Due to social distancing, a video conference will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020, with Keith Johnston officiating. A private burial will follow. Final arrangements are under the direction of Gary Kelley’s Funeral Home in Tulsa, Okla.
