Funeral services for Dwayne Burton Hoppes will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2020, at First Assembly of God in Stroud with Pastor Jeromye Jackson and Pastor Jason Mooy officiating. Burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.

Hoppes was born February 21, 1945, in Old Mannford, Okla., and died Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Stroud. He was 75 years old.

The son of William Burton and Helen Earlene (Brady) Hoppes, he married Robbie Darlene Ritter on July 21, 1964, in Sapulpa, Okla.

A graduate of Depew High School, he worked in the oil and gas business. He was a member of Assembly of God Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his daughter Andrea Dawn Hoppes and his sister Deann Lynn Hoppes.

Survivors include his wife Robbie Hoppes of Stroud; his daughters and sons-in-law, Chandra and Rod Swisher of Chandler and Toni and Terry Dugan of Seminole, Okla.; his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Denise Hoppes of Carney; seven grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Hoppes Brichacek of Drumright, Okla., and Denett Hoppes Cochran of Slick, Okla., and other family and friends.
