Couple to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Gary and Jonnie Sue Bishop will celebrate their 50 ^th Wedding Anniversary on Friday, October 9, 2020.

Gary is the son of longtime Chandler residents Troy and Virginia Bishop. Jonnie Sue is the daughter of John R. and Mary R. Green of Okemah, Okla.

The Bishops have three children - Wallecia Bishop, 46; Teresa Farrow, 40; and Gary Wayne Bishop, 34. They have two grandchildren, Gavin Wayne Bishop and Tatum Promise Cudd, both 12 years old.

Retired United States Army Reserve Lt. Col. Bishop and Jonnie Sue have lived in Chandler for 28 years and have an Angus farm south of Chandler.

Nowadays you will find them tending cattle, sitting around a pond fishing or out on a cruise ship.
