Chandler put up two touchdowns in the last five minutes of regulation and led in overtime, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Beggs Demons Friday. The Lions led the battle of Top 10 teams 27- 20 following a touchdown on the first play of overtime, but Beggs scored on its possession and got a two-point conversion pass to Kendal Daniels to get the win, 28-27.

Randall takes first at Prague meet

Meeker’s Riley Randall clocked a personal best of 16:28 to win first and the Meeker boys cross country team won the 5K meet at Prague on Saturday. It was the first championship hardware in cross country in the school’s history, said coach Brady Dukes.

Prague 44, Stroud 26

It was an incredible four minutes that turned the course of the game. With a little more than seven minutes left in the third quarter, the Prague Red Devils trailed Stroud, 20-8, and looked like they were ready for a standing eight count.
