Rachel Demenica Randazzo Keeling was born and raised in the Stroud and Depew, OK communities. On her 100th birthday, July 6, 2025, her immediate family gathered together to celebrate and honor the “Queen of their Hearts.” Although Rachel has outlived her beloved husband and only two children, she perseveres with great courage and resolve to remain strong and giving. She daily continues to love fervently and encourage her family and others. To have met Rachel is to have loved her.
Rachel began working very young and became an extremely accomplished businesswoman. She was hospital administrator at Blackwell, OK, for 20 years while also keeping books for numerous small businesses. Rachel was the office manager for large OKC Metro car dealerships for another 20 years. She was perhaps the fastest 10-key operator that has ever lived. In 2000, she moved back to Lincoln County and is enjoying “country life.”
The vast majority of her nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grands were present to kiss, hug, take pictures and, of course, have chocolate cake and coffee. Rachel’s only living sibling, close and dearest friend, daughter-in-law and great-niece joined in the amazing dynamics of this grandmother’s birthday party. When asked recently what she thought about being 100, Rachel replied without hesitation and with great gusto, “I think it is the grandest thing I ever did in my life!”
