60th Anniversary

Ola Bon and Charlotte Fouquet will celebrate 60 years of marriage this month. Ola Bon, the son of Genese and Dollie Fouquet, graduated from Prague High School and was introduced by a Tinker co-worker to his daughter, Charlotte, who graduated from Verden High School. They were married about a year later, on July 27, 1963.

After living and working in Oklahoma City for a year, they returned to the family farm homesteaded by Ola Bon’s grandfather, C.D. Deffenbaugh.

The couple have three daughters, Teresa, Vicki and Genise.

Teresa and her husband, Scott Miller, have two daughters, Jessica and Grace. Vicki and her husband Allen Newman have four sons, John and his wife Ashley have two children, Melody and Isaiah, Josh and his wife Lacey have two children, Matthew and Shane. Genise and Aaron Fridrich have two children, Lindsey and her husband Nathan Ellis and Preston and his wife Amelia.

Due to current health reasons, the Fouquets have postponed a public celebration at this time and will reschedule for a later date.
