Boots and Pearls Fundraiser

The Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well-Being will have its 2nd Annual Boots & Pearls Fundraising Event from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 Sep. 1 at The Interpretive Center.

The Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well-Being is a resource for the improvement in child wellbeing in Lincoln County.

With money rasied from last year’s event The Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well- Being has hired a parttime Coordinator and applied for and received 501c3 status. The Partnership is in the process of applying for several grants that will allow for the creation of a comprehensive care delivery system for the improvement of child health, safety, and well-being in rural Lincoln County community schools through integration of existing health and social services, whereby high quality, low cost, and efficient services are delivered to underserved populations.

According to Chad Smith, Elementary Principal, Prague Schools, “We have had a Coordinated School Health Team in Prague Schools for five years. The benefits continue to impact our students’ physical, mental, and behavioral health which in turn improves their ability to learn. I can’t imagine not having this vital resource.”

Tickets for the event are $50 each and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
