Famed mural artist Bob Palmer and his team from Palmer Studios painted a mural at the Lincoln County Historical Society Museum of Pioneer History on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3 as part of ongoing renovations in the museum’s Children’s Historical Resource Center. The mural depicts a late 1800s street scene with historical Chandler figures Marshal Bill Tilghman and photographer Benny Kent. A grand reopening of the room will be held on Sept. 17 in conjunction with the Miss Fay’s Historic Marionette Theater production of “Keeping the Peace: The Life and Times of Bill Tilghman.” Photos/Brian Blansett and Liz Golliver
