Stroud Masons donations

Above, Master Mason Eldon Gordon presents a check to Linda. Smith, president of the Stroud School Foundation, and Joe Shelhope, member of the Stroud School Foundation. The check is for $6,000, with $3,000 raised by the Parkview fall carnival and the Masonic Lodge matching it. The money is to be used for scholarships for Stroud High School seniors and for supplies for teachers. At left, Master Mason Eldon Gordon presents a check to Rick Shaw, president of the Stroud Food Pantry, in the amount of $5,000. This includes $2,500 raised during the Food Pantry’s annual food drive and contributions, as well as matching charitable funds of $2,500 by the Masonic Lodge. The money is to be used for the purchase of food from the regional food bank for our community.
