The Oklahoma Department of Libraries has awarded a $5,339 grant to Chandler Public Library to address impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Library Director Carmen Harkins says the grant will be used to purchase items for social distancing and sanitizing. The grant will address issues related to the pandemic.
Qualifying purchases could include personal protective equipment and easily cleanable furniture, funding network enhancements and Wi-Fi expansion, purchasing connectivity devices for social distancing and remote access to online resources, as well as ordering health and wellness materials for their collections.
