Each year Chandler Jr. HIgh Student Council holds two contests in honor of Veterans. The poetry contest is for 7th and 8th grade students. Students must write a poem honoring all men and women who have served or are serving in the U. S. Military. The second contest is for Park Road Elementary 5th and 6th grade students. Each student creates a Thank You card for Veterans. Above left is Ashlyn Helm, 8th grader who won the poetry contest. Above right are the Park Road winners.
