Stroud’s Peyton Davis clears the last hurdle and heads to the finish line in the 100m hurdles at the 66 Conference track meet in Okemah last week.
Her time of 14.86 broke the Stroud record of 15.15 set by Kileigh Mixon in 2023 and would have set a new state record, but state records have to be set at the state track meet.
Davis is the defending state champion and ran 15.63 last spring in the championships.
She also broke her own 100 meter school record at the conference meet, posting a time of 14.90.
