The Rev. J. Dennis Green was born February 16, 1949, in Perry, Okla. He died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years.
Green, the son of Jack Mervyn and Ceawilla Dean (Adam) Green, married Leslie Ann Robinson on October 20, 1967, in Midwest City, Okla.
A 1967 graduate of Carl Albert High School, he was an ordained minister and associate pastor of Messiah Ministries Church of Oklahoma City and owned Green Construction.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; his wife Leslie Green and daughter Autumn Mobbs of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason Dennis and Jeanien Green of Chandler; his daughter and son-in-law Misty and Jason Underwood of Chandler; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law Larry and Pat Green; his sisters and brother-in-law, Gayla Wade and Janette and Marty Gould; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Davenport First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Ore and the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
