Michele Lynn (Vance) Mobbs was born April 20, 1950, in Ponca City, Okla. She died Monday, April 4, 2022, at the age of 71 years.
Mobbs, the daughter of Jimmy Dean and Georgia Mae Catherine (Owens) Vance, was married to Bill Mobbs in 1968.
A 1968 Moore High School graduate, she worked various jobs in sales before working at Hands on Therapy and Shutter Mill in Stillwater, Okla.
Preceding her in death were her father and her sister Jenna Bruno.
Survivors include her mother Georgia Vance of Dallas, Texas; one daughter Angela Starling of Carney; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Cheryl Walton of Lindsay, Okla., Tami Cooke of Dallas, Tara Vance of Carney and Georgia Chappell of Tulsa, Okla.; and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. The family requests memorial donations to the funeral home in lieu of flowers.
