Ronald “Ronnie” Curtis Underwood, 80, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at his home in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Ronald was born on November 29, 1943, to CurtisBasilUnderwood and Lydia Lovella (Hines)Underwood.He was raised and attended school in Spencer, Oklahoma.
Ronald married Janet Kay Grandstaff in 1964.
Ronald was a roofer until he retired. He enjoyed watching westerns, crime shows, and WWE wrestling. In addition, he enjoyed listening to the blues and bantering with his family.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Lydia Underwood; a brother Bill Underwood; sister-in-law, Carolyn Underwood; brother-in-law Ozcar Vallejo and step-father Lewis Lacher.
He is survived by his children, Jurl Underwood and wife Brenda of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Tina Tait of Chandler, Oklahoma; Michele Underwood of Chandler, Oklahoma; a sister, Julandis Vallejo of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews as well as many other family and friends.
Services were held on July 3 at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma.
