Chandler Public Library activities

CARLA HALE
Chandler Library

There’s a lot going on at your Chandler Public Library.

The book in the StoryPath @ Tilghman Park will change the week of January 8, and though there will be no program this time, we will have our “Grab and Go” kits available at the library that you can pick up either before or after you read the book. The new book will be, “How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon”, and the StoryPath boards will have some additional information on Healthy Living provided by our local TSET Healthy Living Program.

And speaking of Healthy Living, for our more senior members of the community, the Health Department will be offering a A MATTER OF BALANCE at your Chandler Public Library. It is a 6-week course beginning January 9, and meeting twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 2 p.m. Health Educators Terry Grissom and Jennifer Sayre will be leading the program. You can call Jennifer at 405-258-2640 or the library at 405-258-3204 for more information.

For any patron interested in things celestial, we will have the Circulating Eclipse Kit from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. There will be a program on Tuesday morning, January 23, for our littles, and a multigenerational program on Wednesday, January 24. We could add an evening program if there is interest! Call and let us know.

If that isn’t enough, we also have a good collection of new books at the library.
