Town Talk

Town Talk Thursday, April 10, 2025 I was driving into town from the south and as always turned right onto Main Street. As I made the turn and with the sun positioned just right, the freshly painted water tower grabbed my attention; the fresh coat of white paint glistened, and my eyes were immediately drawn to it. Not only has it been freshly painted, but it has a new Stroud Tiger emblazoned on the side of it. Thank you to Bob Pearman and the City of Stroud for making this happen. It’s just another nice City improvement.

Did you know Stroud’s gas prices are lower than any of our surrounding communities and definitely less than the Tulsa area? If you’re going out of town, better fill up locally before hitting the road. Also, Easter is fast approaching.

As you make plans for your Sunday dinner and egg hunts, be sure to remember to check with our local merchants to meet your needs. Also, if you don’t have a local church, pick one of our many churches to visit on Easter Sunday and celebrate the true meaning of this holiday. Have a great week and thank you for shopping local………………. first!
