Here is your weekly baseball update. Lincoln and August’s baseball team, the Naturals, had the weekend off. Gideon has finished school ball but still plays in a traveling team, Sandlot (Taylor) and played in Arkansas this past weekend. They went 1-1 in pool games and lost to the Sandlot (Bess) in tournament play. Gideon pitched three and two-third innings in relief in the tournament game. He gave up one run and struck out three. The sun was out so finally some nice baseball weather. Congratulations are in order for the Stroud Lady Tigers softball team. They are headed to State. Town Talk wishes them the best of luck!
