The Tigers endured a difficult loss to the Chandler Lions this past Friday night at Jack Poskey Field in Stroud. The win served as revenge for a loss to Stroud in 2024. The Lions capitalized on Stroud’s turnovers and played strong defense throughout the game. Jeremiah Cropp started as the quarterback for the Tigers. The Tigers will travel to Pawnee to take on the Pawnee Black Bears this Friday night in another nonconference game. Good luck to Coach Presley, his assistant coaches and the entire Tiger team. Let’s go support them and cheer them on with “more cowbell!”
Happy Birthday to my first-born great-nephew Gideon Smalley. Gideon turned 15 this past Sunday and just started his first year of high school. I know each of you understand this sentiment, but where did the time go? They grow up way too fast but it is fun watching them grow and mature.
You can feel from the drop in temperatures that Fall is just around the corner. Changes in the season bring about changes in your household “to do” list, too. It might be time to purchase a new rake, plant some mums and put on a pot of hot apple cider. Check out our local merchants before making any purchases and after shopping, enjoy dinner at one of our local restaurants. Have a great week and thanks for continuing to shop and dine local…………….. first!
