Wednesday, October 8th, is Tiny Tots Story Time at the Stroud Library. This activity is available for ages from two to four years. Please call the library at 918968-2567 to register. An adult must remain with their child during story time.
Stroud Area Homeschool, Inc. is hosting an Open Jam Session fundraiser on Friday, October 10th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at 925 West Central in Stroud. All skill levels are welcome, and singers and “listeners” are invited to attend, too. There will be a concession stand selling soup, snacks, and drinks. This is a familyfriendly event for all ages.
Stroud Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival will take place on October 18th at Tatanka Ranch. Admission is free of charge. The event kicks ou at noon with eats from the food truck, a visit to the beer garden, and a stroll through local vendor tents. Kids can enjoy the craft table, face painting, bounce houses, and the playground. The Brick and Rolling Pin Contest will begin at 2:00 p.m. You may sign up when you arrive at the festival. Music by the band Loose Gravel starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. There will be a limited number of tables and chairs, so you are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. You won't want to miss this fun-filled day the whole family can enjoy.
Stroud Chamber of Commerce’s Main Street Trick or Treat will take place on Friday, October 31st from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Come get some candy and then head over to Jack Poskey Field and support the Stroud Tigers football team. They will be playing the Hennessey Eagles.

Stroud Fall Clean-Up Week will begin October 20th.
Stroud’s homecoming parade took place last Friday and a big crowd was on hand to enjoy the show. The freshman class took first place in the float division with their 50's themed float. The Tigers rolled over the Meeker Bulldogs at the Friday night game with a victory of 54-8. They will travel to Alva this Friday night to play the Goldbugs.
