Don and Ta at GiGi’s donuts are back from vacation and the donut shop is once again open for business. I don’t know how Stroud made it without a donut shop for as long as we did, before GiGi’s opened. Everyone was missing their morning donuts but no worries, the donuts are back! Stop by, say hi and pick up a dozen.

If cabin fever is setting in, you can catch a movie at The Dunkin Theater in Cushing. This week Migration, an animated movie, is playing. The Dunkin will be closed tonight, Thursday January 18th for a private event but will reopen to the public on Friday. Chandler H & S Theater is currently showing Boys in the Boat. This movie is based on a true story about the University of Washington’s rowing team and their quest to compete in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
Things are cold outside, but I know our local businesses have their heaters on and are warmed up to meet your needs. It’s too cold to be on the road and there have been several Turnpike accidents during this cold and snowy weather.
There is no time better than right now to shop local. Have a great week, stay warm and thank you for continuing to shop local…………. first!
